Feeling tired, low in energy, or more prone to illness?

This advanced blood test from Effect Doctors combines our Vitamin & Mineral Deficiency Test with our Iron Deficiency Profile to deliver one of the most thorough health screens available. It’s designed to uncover the root causes of fatigue, low immunity, hair thinning, and poor concentration — helping you optimise your wellbeing with precise, medical insight.

Our clinicians assess your body’s essential building blocks:

  • Vitamins: B12, B9 (folic acid) and Vitamin D

  • Minerals: Magnesium, zinc, calcium, potassium, sodium, and chloride

  • Iron markers: Iron, ferritin, transferrin, TIBC, transferrin saturation

  • Health indicators: CRP (inflammation), FBC (red & white blood cells), Liver and Kidney Function Tests

Why This Test Matters

Even mild deficiencies in vitamins or iron can significantly impact how you feel and function day to day. Common signs include:

  • Persistent tiredness or brain fog

  • Reduced strength and stamina

  • Frequent colds or infections

  • Hair thinning or brittle nails

  • Low mood or difficulty concentrating

These symptoms are often linked to dietary insufficiencies, poor absorption, inflammation, or lifestyle factors — all of which can be identified through this assessment.

How Your Assessment and Results Work

All tests are carried out and reviewed by NHS-trained, fully registered and insured doctors. We offer same-day appointments at our Soho and Westfield London clinics, or can see you in the comfort of your home or hotel.

Your consultation includes a full review of your medical history, symptoms, and blood pressure, with one of our doctors guiding you through your results and next steps to support energy, nutrition, and overall health.

Samples are processed at our trusted laboratory, with results typically available within 7–10 working days. You’ll receive a detailed doctor’s report with clear interpretation and personalised recommendations, which may include treatments such as IV iron infusions, vitamin supplementation, or IV nutrient therapy where appropriate.
