I have nothing but positive notes to share of my experience under Dr Buxton. His team is patient and lovely, and the space is very well kept.
I had my transfusion just under a month ago. I definitely feel a difference in my exhaustion levels - I would estimate a 15-20% improvement there. I don’t know how but it’s affected my mood and I genuinely have been feeling less and less blue and depressed. Less headaches and almost no body ache. Much faster recovery from gym too.
For the first time in a long long time, I wasn’t absolutely dead during my period either - I was able to go out, do other things, and function much better overall.

This was my second time visiting Effect Doctors. As soon as you walk in the staff are so welcome and professional. It feels more like walking into a home then a clinic. I had my tests done for well person elite and I have already received my results. It was about 2 working day! Amazing. Very easy to read results. Highly recommend
I had such a great experience with Dr Will. They made the whole process so easy and I felt really well cared for
I had a really good experience at Effect Doctors in their Westfield White City branch. I thought that it being in a massive shopping centre, it would mean that it would feel a little bit noisy and chaotic, but it was the opposite! They are located in "The Village" part of the centre, next to other health and wellness centres. Being in the village part meant that you felt away from the hustle and bustle of all of major shopping outlets, which made it a much more calmer experience all round.
The clinicians were all professional and the clinic itself was clean and well organised for the IV Iron infusion which I booked over the phone. I was able to get an appointment really quick too (same day). It may not always be the case to get an appointment at such short notice, as I was informed that they were fully booked the next day, but when you're feeling deficient and in need of a boost, it certainly helped to be listened to and seen so quickly! I felt I was heard and treated with genuine care, concern and respect. If ever in need of iron or other IV therapy in the future I'll be sure to come back.

Really recommend the IV drips at Effect Doctors. The team are super caring, attentive and very quick. For anyone that is afraid of needles, this is the ONLY place where you can't feel a thing.10/10
