I had a really positive experience at Effect Doctors with Dr Maytham for my iron infusion. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, professional, and made me feel completely at ease. Dr Maytham was knowledgeable and took the time to explain the process clearly, answering all of my questions and making sure I was comfortable throughout.

The iron infusion itself was smooth and well-managed, and I felt well looked after the entire time. The clinic was clean, calm, and very well organised. I truly appreciate the care and attention I received and would highly recommend Effect Doctors and Dr Maytham to anyone needing an iron infusion.

I am a stoma patient with an ileostomy and have been feeling extremely rundown with excessive fatigue.
My service carried out by a real Doctor & Nurse in my own home.
I was very sceptical and didn’t have any real expectations at all, but was desperate!
I am absolutely delighted to say I can’t believe the difference in myself and would highly recommend this if any one has an opportunity to have!

The Clinic is very clean and tidy, just finding may be a difficult for some as the signage for clinic is a bit small and there are building works near the clinic.
Best way to get to the Soho clinic at Tottenham Court Road will be via public transport as trying to find a parking space is a bit difficult to locate.
The staff were very good, caring and compassionate, the Doctor and nurses are very knowledgeable.
The best thing about this clinic is that the prices are not hidden and you can discuss other issues, which they are happy to discuss with you and they spend the time with you to explain everything.
Plenty of places to eat as well if you are there for sometime.
Overall very happy and satisfied with the service and health care provided.

Why should I lose weight?

While these medications are generally very well tolerated and most people experience little to no disruption, some individuals may notice mild side effects, including:

Can anyone have Weight Loss Medications?

To qualify for these medications, you have to be between 18 and 75 years old, have a BMI ≥ 30 kg/m² or ≥ 27 kg/m² with a weight-related health condition.

And you must not experience any of the following health conditions:

Anyone who has a serious disease of the liver, gallbladder or pancreas
Anyone with a history or direct family history of MEN2 or thyroid cancer.
Type 1 diabetics or patients taking diabetic medication
Significant kidney disease
Anyone with heart failure or abnormal heart rhythm
Any history of psychosis or severe depressions
Pregnant, breastfeeding or intending to fall pregnant
